Bloody 64,631
"Gypsy" received generally positive reviews from music critics. Adam Markovitz from Entertainment Weekly considered the track one of the album's best, calling it "enjoyable".[5] Matt Russoniello from Celebuzz called "Gypsy" the new "The Edge of Glory", noting similarities to Gaga's 2011 song, and suggesting the possibility of the former becoming a single in the future.[19] Caryn Ganz from Rolling Stone praised the song's simple lyrics, describing it as an "Eighties-style anthem where Gaga admits her love of performing."Chris Bosman from Time magazine, thought that "Gypsy" serves as the "epic end-of-album track" along with "Dope". even the critics liked it
Pop 4,541
I'm just happy she is being HONEST again. That is all I've asked for her during the ARTPOP era and I think it's the main reason many fans were angry. She pretended like everything was fine while it was bloody obvious she was falling apart. She seems strong and ready to deal with a proper comeback now. Honestly? I can't wait. The Taylor Brigade: KNOCKOUT

After all the **** she's been through the last year she can stand in her feet again. I can't wait for her next POP come back
Yves 1,891
Experimental hip-hop album? You didn't learn on JnD, Gags. She better include Gypsy as a single in her next album. Gypsy (feat. Sam Smith) is coming for that Top 10 hit. :excited2:

Nemo 4,231
Is it a re-release? I hadn't realised it'd been released before. Was this between DWUW and GUY?No. I dunno what she meant by that. "Under a decent record label", maybe?Although I fault Interscope for not promoting G.U.Y., among many other things, I don't really think much about them not paying for the video. Because, here's a hint: The artist always pays for the videos. The record company may front the money, but then they'll get it back out of royalties. All promo expenses come out of the artist's cut. It's cynical, evil, and totally standard for this corrupt industry.

mister 17
and the video could have scenes of arRAVE from all over the world I hate concert music videos. Tacky. And seeing how Gaga is famous for her strong music videos, concert-videos are beneath her. Not to mention the media would make her out to look pathetic to trying to keep ARTPOP alive, let alone release a lazy concert video as an official music video. Ronk 14,513
Interesting backstage conversation. It doesn't matter if the "ARTPOP Era is over", release Gypsy - it's a good and happy song. Why not? Most of the GP will think it came outta nowhere. This I live outside the space time continuum.
lego 44,165
Can't she just release a video without making it a single? I bet she has great footage from that Dubai desert and other places around the world. FreePalestine

Allison M 357
Her label wouldn't help pay for any of the videos? That's rather lame of them. I'm glad Gaga so did it. The G.U.Y film is my favorite video :)

I think every great classic music video artist has at least one concert video. And Gaga is a great live performer. People should see that! It'd be another thing if every video were a concert video...
