We don't know all the facts for sure, but we can assume there is SOME TRUTH in these allegations, the stakes and risks are too high for Kesha to just make up a frivolous case. In any case, this gonna get good coverage by the media and no matter how this case evolves, this will tarnish Dr.  :millie:  reputation with a negative impact on his own career. Good riddance, his "music" ( :millie:  :millie:  :millie: ) will finally stop polluting the airwaves.

First of all let me say that if these allegation are proven to be real he must rot in jail for the rest of his life.

BUT as far as I know we just have allegations so far. Each side is presenting their story. I don't know what exactly goes on in the American legal system but in the European legal system the one that files a lawsuit is obliged to bring proof in front of the court and the judge or else he/she is seriously f***ed. Unfortunately these allegations are extremely hard to prove unless she has some pictures or medical reports or voice recordings and so on. Her word against his word isn't enough. If she accepts a settlement out of courts it will tarnish her image and show she had other motives than having justice being served.

If she wins he ll have to deal with severe legal consequences and backlash.

If she fails to win this case in court then may God help her soul. He will come after her for defamation and he can win everything she owns.

The sad thing is that no matter who is right in this case they will both suffer if it goes to trial because the lawyers will eat them alive in order to win the case

PS. to those linking it to katy perry and celebrating or similar stuff : you need some help as soon as possible.

I don't see why so many of you are trying to say Kesha is lying about this? Do you understand how much legal trouble she can get into if she was lying? It would not be worth it at all. Those excepts from TMZ are from official court documents. 

 

Plus, I don't see how any of this seems overly excessive or embellished? I'm sure most of you are aware of how f*cked up the music industry is (and showbiz in general). It all seems absolutely plausible to me.

Well, I'll wait until more comes out. However, P!nk, Kelly Clarkson, Britney Spears, Avril Lavigne, Marina, and The Veronicas all refused to work with Dr. Luke a second time, even though in each of those cases Luke produced a major hit for them.

Seems a little weird. Maybe he's just an asshole to work with, bit it is odd.

Edit Taylor Swift has also worked with Max Martin, but not with Luke. The two producers are closely tied, and usually if you work with Max you work with Luke. Maybe just a coincidence... bit maybe not. Is Taylor intentionally not working with Luke because her or her team knows something?

I just am worried that Kesha gets trashed by the media for this, due to her promiscuous past music.

its too obvious in the first place that DR. LUKE amd other managers are the Handlers to their artists and programs/trains them to become successful by doing explicit and hideous acts of sins. Selling yourself to the devil is part of the contract.

You don't know anything yet. You're being a bit extreme. What if Kesha is telling the truth? Does being a woman give her less credit and integrity? Is that what you're trying to say?

What reason would he have to not let her out of the contract?

Warrior was a major flop. She didn't even tour. He was making money off of her.

The only reason to keep her is to control her, which seems indicative of much darker things, especially considering they met when she was 18. A forty year old man spending all of his time around teenage girls, where have I seen that before?

So let's not pretend like this is unbelievable, because it definetely is. If you want to defend him that's fine, but attacking Kesha to do it is unnessecary and honestly, at this point, doesn't even make sense.
