This is the problem with this lawsuit. It concerns with so many "immoral" things but which arent actually illegal. She cant win if she doesnt have some real evidence. It has nothing to do with liking Kesha or disliking katy (wtf?), its about giving the victim the benefit of the doubt. Of course the general rule is 'innocent until proven guilty' but with instances of s-xual abuse i think its different, its damaging to people who have been through s-xual abuse to fear that if they bring it up then they will be accused of lying and nothing will come of it, so i believe with cases like these, until the final verdict is given, the victim should be given the benefit of the doubt. plus, he is/was basically in charge of her whole career, he could/can ruin her in this industry, so no wonder it took a long time for her to come forward. Oh, DON'T EVEN try the defensless female and tyrannical male. And there is NO ONE giving Dr. Luke the benefit of the doubt. NO ONE. Does he have a fanbase which will slit the throat of anyone who they think could possibly harm their fave? No. Does Ke$ha? Yeah. Is he the powerful public figure? No. Is Ke$ha? Indeed. Had this been any non mainstream pop girl or something people wouldn't even flinch at the thought of a girl being s-xually, physically and emotionally abused. But because Kesha is who she is, people will back her up and instantly blame Dr. Luke. If you look at Kesha's statments objectively, they seem like over exaggerations used in order to maniuplate the jury/viewers. It's clearly being told in a way that pulls on your heart strings. Look at this thread: almost no one is standing up for the other guy who hasn't even been given the chance to speak for himself. They're showing what Kesha is saying but what about the guy who hasn't got the chance to speak yet? Everyone is rushing to say he should rot in prison. And you think Kesha can't ruin him? Psh. Most victims of abuse don't say anything until a lot of time has passed, in most cases they are scared and feel guilty. Also, do you honestly believe she'd go to rehab because of low sales? That's ridiculous. This is what I was going to say. It is more likely to happen with people that are easily manipulated and/or arr threatened. Which is why some abusers abuse for a long time.
