Is Label allowed to sabotage the artists by not releasing their albums which would mean their contract will never end? Yep, I think Gaga mentioned at one point that labels will sign artists with no intention of doing anything with them. It just keeps them from becoming competition in some cases from other labels. Poor Kesha though, if the allegations are found to be true then Dr. Luke should have even more further action taken against him. Who knows if its 100% true, but in many cases those who're abused don't see the other person (the abuser) as the one at fault but themselves. It can take others to show them that it isn't normal behavior that's going on, its sadly a classic abuse case.
