Guille 1,079
Where did I mention Venus being single lol So I also prefer BM over FLOPiCURE because Venus wasn't single Noisy Mary over Slaycure? Bye :sis:
Rollercoaster 2
I think you have DJWS confused with DJ Zedd :madge: And Applause and DWUW were actually quite well received criticallly Roar was well received too. Doesnt make it any good. Dwuw I have no problem with because the production is very minimal, its about the vocal. Applause, however... no. Verses with little more than a drum and choppy chords followed by the same thing with extra instrumental on top in the style of calvin harris? How original. Yves 1,891
Not really excited. Unless he delivers a song as good as DWUW. No JnD please. Zedd is recycling his **** nowadays. He also works for Kesha's next album. I'll doubt if it ever has sinilarities on future Gaga songs. As for RedOne, his latest work is a flop. Unless he could do a song with her as good as BR then okay.

In what world was Roar critically well received? Commercially yes, but any serious music critic saw what a corny cliched joke it was. Not to mention it was widely criticized as a lazy copy of that other song Brave. And seriously, your over thinking things way to much. Applause is a well produced, energetic, catchy pop song with an interesting vocal delivery that at least tries to have somewhat of a unique lyrical concept compared to the rest of the crap that pollutes the radio these days. Its not the freaking Beatles but its generally in line with what I would expect from gaga. And Calvin Harris? I can see references to Bowie, 80's synthpop/new wave mixed with some more modern trap/ j-pop production elements. but Calvin Harris? Lol. Try again... Ok, ear check for you. And in what world was Roar well received? Commercially, obviously. Money makes the world go 'round, but in addition to that, nobody was really very interested in Applause' dated sound. It was not only dated, but if it'd come out at the time when the sound was relevant, it wouldn't have really smashed anyway because it's simply not very good. The production was NOTHING like Bowie at all. Nothing. We're not talking vocals, unless DJWS sang on the track. If the song was as amazing as people are making it out to be, why didn't it have a huge commercial and cultural impact? It's one thing to like the song - I don't really hate it - but it's not very good at all, from a production point of view.

MonsterRocket 55
He's completely incapable to produce hit material. Applause did ok bcus it was a lead single. And all his song are medioca. I just feel that if they were made by a different producer they would be so much better. Especially Swine had a huge potential, but....... I feel exactly the same. I feel like the melodies they create together are very geat, but then they fail at producing them. I like Applause, but i feel like it could have been a Show Must Go on-kind of pop hit if better executed. That intro is just epic, but the beat seems quite basic to me... I think DWUW is one of Gaga's best songs, but I guess she has to work with more experienced producers, who can take profit of Gaga's ideas potential as much as possible. ByeBye49 161
BOLD stands for mediocre ITALIC stands for great FLOP stands for FLOP UNDERLINED stands for: you're delusional crediting these songs to him because they were produced by other guys with the very little tiny small contribution of DJ Flop Shadow And you forgot ARTPOP the songs, which is GREAT So as you can see, I'm everything but excited for his return "FLOPBloodyFLOPMaryFLOP" You're kidding me?
