GHGUY 230
And see if those certifications mean anything to the GP who all like Katie and just think gaga is a weirdo. Lmao obviously Gaga is successful, buy Katie has been more successful than gaga for two albums in a row. First of all its Katy***** sis. Secondly, it seems like you are perpetuating this Katy and Gaga competition so expect backlash by a fan forum dedicated to Gaga. Thirdly, success can be measured in multiple ways and it all depends on perspective so stop acting like your opinion is right and everyone else's opinions on success is wrong. Anderson123 38,428
Bull****! The public would enjoy the hell out of Gaga. They want to see real artists with actual talent, Not untalented chicks like Rihanna or Katy Perry. I can guarantee you that the audience at Super Bowl XLIX will boo Katy out of the stadium. And the same if Rihanna was perorming. Nah, they won't boo Katy Perry just because she's not talented, please. That doesn't happen on awards show, let alone it happen at the Super Bowl. The public will enjoy Katy Perry because she has a big team and they know how to make a show, she's had many #1 hits for a reason. They know how to sell her name. This is not a stadium full of gay "stans" that will be wearing their "fave's" t-shirt and booing "you basic flOo0p" at performers like they do on forums like this, it's the real world. I don't know about Gaga, I don't see her doing a Super Bowl show, but that's just me. It's just that if I were a fan of sports, I'd love to see a half time show featuring Coldplay or even better, Queen + Adam Lambert, something like that, I think it fits the show better than a popstar. First of all, have you ever heard of autocorrect? Mess. Secondly, ummmm no, there's a Katy thread posted basically every day, and the stupid monsters who have no idea what they're talking about say stupid things about Katy Perry and Gaga that deserve stupid replies. Thirdly, lol OK you're saying this on a Gaga forum.

And not only did BTW sell 6million and TD sell 5.7 million, but katy had 8 top five singles (6 humber 1s?)...were BTW'S singles even close to that success? No. Not saying it wasn't successful, I actually love BTW.

And the same if Rihanna was perorming. First of all let me welcome you to planet earth, 'cuz you're either new in this world or you haven't realize people give one big F about talent, and just would eat up whatever keeps them entertained. Like when Gaga used to put out songs about clubbing, being promiscous, falling hard in love, and getting sick of being called by her bf at a party. Despite her "rare mimics', people felt identified and took her artistry as extarvaganza for convetional things. Perfect formula, perfect timing for someone perfectly talented. Then she started writing about her personal stuff, and topics aimed for specific groups of people (her fans). Then no one gave a damn whether she could play the piano, do perfect dance steps, and sing beutifully in tune at the same time! Second of all, Rihanna might not write her songs or play instruments but has a very powerful voice, combined with a strong personality that's reflected when she's on stage. Katy is not very much of a good live singer but she writes songs, plays the guitar, can pull up decently good vocals acousticly. How is that not talent? Not everyone has to be able to sing opera in prefect tune while breakdancing in high heels and unconfortably outregeous outfit, to be consider talented! Sorry but you still be really wrong..Born this way in 2012 had sold 6m ,in the ends of 2012 it had sold 7m,now it has sold around 9,5m ,Teenage Dream on the other hand has sold 7m now in 2014...Singles are PROMOTION for the album..When an album sells more than an other it's more successful.Album sales are x10 more important than single sales.. Born this way was more successful than teenage dream and that's a fact..Please study more..

I know what I'm about to say it's going to be hard to accept for most monsters (even me, because BTW is fave Gaga album and one of my fave albums of all time, a masterpiece nowhere close to TD). Sales figures are almost the same for both albums, maybe Gaga sold 1 or 2 more millions but... Teenage Dream had a lot more impact than BTW OMG, I can't believe I said it! But it's true, everyone still talks or is reminded about how TD tied MJ's record for most #1's off of one album, and leaves people with the strong thought deep inside that that was quite achivement nowadays, more than millions and millions of albums sold! LOL Did Teenage Dream even had impact? Having #1 singles doesn't mean that it had impact..Born This Way had a GREAT impact,it saved people lives,it was about gay or different people..What did Teenage Dream do? Nothing.. It was really successful in single sales..But did worse than BTW in impact, album sales and reviews..
