Not nearly as bad as Joan Rivers' 9/11 "jokes".

In 2004 she stunned New Yorkers, still raw from 9/11, when she mocked reports the CITIGROUP building in Manhattan was a terrorist target.

Rivers said: 'I hope it goes down. It's so ugly. I'm helping them load them (bombs) in.'

Controversial comedienne Joan Rivers has stunned British audiences by mocking the relatives of firefighters killed in the September 11 terrorist attacks. Rivers recently unveiled her new stand-up show Broke And Alone In London, but the British audience were left stunned when the American made fun of widows, whose firefighting husbands were killed in the attacks on New York and Washington DC. An audience member says, "She said that they got paid $5 million each, and how disappointed they'd be if they were told, after all, that their husbands had been found alive." Despite the controversy, Joan's spokesman insists that she, boldly, plans to continue to use the joke when she takes her show to America later this year.

BTW, I wasn't scared either, nor excited, nor angry (like a lot of people... I never really understood that). I was just sad.

I understand exactly what he means. If you weren't in New York or a big city - you were pretty much completely out of the danger zone with no reason to panic. At which point, the whole thing became some extreme disaster movie.
Oh my god :wtf:

People did not sit back and watch with popcorn and soda. This was a terrorist attack that induced anger sadness and other emotions from millions of people around the world.

What an ignorant thing to say...most people have more humanity than that
