That is maybe because it was the last single she promoted in NL but sold out arena anyway. She could gain much more if she did a promo trip around Europe.

Yeah. Maybe soon.

I feel like big American stars replace global promo with global tours though. It just becomes too exhausting for them.

Granted, Gaga does a good job at visiting every big market with every pop tour she has. She deserves credit for that

Oh I thought they lasted roughly the same with Duets II hanging in the 90s longer but C2C being in the 50s longer?

At that point its barely even worth noting tho tbh because it's the difference between 5 and 10 copies :rip:

___

Europe better be here for her next pop era though.

Didn't she tour the hell out of the UK and then had like 3 dates in France and Germany each with artRAVE?

And Aus had like 6 with half empty arenas. :rip:

She's killed herself touring her entire career WW while some girls cut corners and skip markets. It kinda bugs me how it doesn't seem to help :rip: Esp in like Amsterdam. She keeps going there and her albums keep bombing post-Poker Face. I think the Dutch literally believe her last single was PF.

An important TV presentator here didn't know what BTW was

they invited radio DJs from the biggest radio station to praise Katy's SuperBowl performance last week though :rip:

But it's nothing special for people to come here. If she wants people to stan she has to boost the ego of the patriotic Dutch, she has to have a little bit more edginess and rockiness for airplay on the two biggest radio stations (which are pop stations but cater more to straight males than females) and she should try to show her humerous, down-to-earth side without anything crazy.

In the end, she can just leave this country behind. We're not as relevant as we used to be and are only going to become less and less relevant. She should imo try to promote in Poland or Turkey more now.

And Gaga just likes it here in Amsterdam. She said if Mitt Romney would win the elections she would become a Dutch citizen

I was rooting for you Mitt Romney how dare you lose and keep Gaga in the US

I dont mind if she skips promo in Netherlands because it seems to be a dead cause, but I'd like her to keep touring there. She's visiting for C2C which is cool. Maybe she'll do some interviews with Tony that'll be appealing/likeable.

Also, not to rain on anybody's parade, the Netherlands will be eradicated by global warming and the increasing sea levels in 30-40 years :cryga: Why promo when the countries gonna be gone anyways, efficient thinking chanteuse :legend:

obviously I'm kidding, but global warming is serious kids

Yeah... if her single does well in the US and Germany it's almost bound to do well in the Netherlands. If she just has a really catchy lead single (as catchy as Roar or Bad Romance) she doesn't even have to promote in Europe and she'll have instant success, eventhough radio DJs will probably hesitate a little bit in the beginning (which is good for longetivity, though!)

The Grammys were great this year for Gaga. Not only because of her win or performance, but her red carpet outfit was all over twitter.

I literally heard people mention Gaga like 10 times today at school alone.

Ive noticed from Beyonce that all it takes to be talked about in the social media age is to look s-xy.

And Gaga used that card last night.

If she attends the Oscar's again, we may see it later this month.

Yeah

She had amazing grosses in Germany just a few months ago from artRave. Same from UK and France.

Even smaller markets like Spain, Austria, Switzerland had good grosses.

I think that'll bode well for at least her first single of her next album. Her touring power in Asia/Europe are consistently strong.

Looking at her grosses, Australia was ashame. I'm glad she did so many dates there anyway. Maybe itll help.
