Unfortunately, it seems so. From a business perspective, it was the ideal time, giving the great press she had in the last 2 months and the fact that the competition isnt very strong, so if the album is ready, but they keep it on hold, thats bad business. I bet the title, lead single and imagery for the era haven't even been discussed yet. those things take time, and you know how dedicate Gaga is to those details. don't expect anything earlier than June. Gaga and her team have built great momentum for the new era over the past months. now it's time to make sure everything is perfect to avoid any missteps (which ruined ARTPOP completely) don't you think she was already getting overexposed with all those high-profile performances and appearances from grammy/oscar/goldenglobe/superbowl? And then, well, Yep, except that before the SuperBowl she was quiet, didnt campaign for an Oscar, didnt do anything and after the SuperBowl she didnt start to give interviews for idontknowwhatsong. Overexposed? At best, for all the performances you mentioned, she was in the news the next two day. Thats all. She didnt make them singles. They were played on tv because they were featured on commercials for whom she was paid a lot of money. And btw, they were new songs, not one year old songs.
