Like It Rough 144
I'm here for dark Gaga, but not too dark for radio. I little more darker than TFM EP. + crazy beats and simple catchy lyrics.
TEANUS 13,839
Ive been here since 2009, and yes I was here for ARTTANK.Half of what you said is debatable, and ARTPOP did not sell consistently. "A few weeks" .. That's called frontloaded. And the era was a forgotten disaster of meltdowns, messy performances, bad management, and commercial underperformances. Except it was only so front loaded because promotion completely halted not even two months after its release. It pretty much sold 600k in less than 2 months in the US alone. And two of the things you said aren't even valid really. The largest amount of meltdowns came from the fans, not Gaga or her management and the quality of the performances is all subjective, and I think they were great. HighwayGuy 1,498
Isn't dance music kinda dead In pop now? Other than Calvin Harris and Zedd. I just read the wiki for house music and Lady Gaga and Marry The Night is mentioned in it. Is Marry The Night considered house? EDM is pretty much dead yes, but house music is different and is HUGE in Europe but hasn't quite reached the US yet And no, Marry The Night is not house music Something like this is house music! This DJ has also said he's been working with a huge pop star - it could be Gaga(http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/31755400)

Not having meltdowns during ARTPOP? Yeah, okay. And it's not subjective. She didn't even promote in Aus/France/Germany AT ALL, Applause didn't get a performance in the UK until AFTER the single era ended. One of the singles didn't get a video after the initial single was cancelled, GUY was a commercial failure, and the album sold A FRACTION of her previous records. You're right though. Management issues are subjective.. She only FIRED her manager and broke down crying in a performance the week of the album release Yet, you know, the era went swimmingly. But yet, here you are again completely ignoring what I said. I said the quality of the performances are all subjective. And the only reason she didn't perform much WW is because she was putting her heart and soul into the album making sure it was perfect for ungrateful brats like you tbh. And how dare you attack Gaga for breaking down during that performance. I could not even IMAGINE what kind of stress she was under that night. She was obviously going through terrible problems and a betrayal from her manager since the beginning of her career and she was prepping an album release. And when did I say it went swimmingly? Yes, the era was a mess at times. But, it wasn't a completely failure.
