What about ARTPOP's launch that was all from herself too and the ARTPOP promotional vid shot by I&V that too it's just how everything works. Gaga has a contract with Interscope where it's says what part of her career will be financially paid or what % of these money the label will give her .... it's not interscope's faulth that Gaga wanted to spend 1/4 million on a music video It's much more fun to have hizophrenia... u never get lonely Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

(Also rent for Hearst Castle was $750k alone ) lol where exactly were you during 2013 Interscope promoted ARTPOP, it also promoted Applause and FYI no label will be spending millions on music video .... if an artist wants to have 1 million budget video they have to open their pockets if not then they will have to be satisfied with Katy Perry green screen kind of video quality. And it's not Interscope's fault that Gaga got depressed midway in her album era and decided to stay at home and post memes on LM.com rather then promote. The label is there for an artist to help him/her to become big and later to make money from the him/her. The label invests in the artist and in the beginning they paid for the music videos but since TFM Gaga basically paid for most of her videos that's why Telephone was like one big product placement Gaga was running out of money and the money Interscope gave weren't enough, and usually when label pays for music videos there is product placement, and when Gaga got big enough to have enough money for her videos she was doing what she wants that's why since Telephone she hand't video with product placement in it. The label gives money BUT certain amount of money for videos, because they also pay for producers, writer, music engineers, booking etc. Why alot of people still blame interscope for everything when Gaga said that during the ARTPOP era the problem was her management not her label and half of the time the label wasn't even aware of what was happening btw Gaga and Troy.
