gaga's true stanning country :legend:

I feel that Canada stand even more than Japan tbh. Her two most powerful music markets. US and UK are also big makrets for her and she can easily recover big there. Her most difficult task will be to recover in Oceania and Germany/France/Netherlands. Spain/Italy and most of Asia loves her as well.

If DWUW had a music video, the song could have been a big hit in France.

The song sold more than Applause here.

DWUW was huge in whole Europe imo, in Lithuania it was radio candy, I still hear it from time to time. :spin:

I still don't get why none of the performances helped its sales. You had SNL, AMAs, XFactor on top of decent radio support. Should have been able to hit Top 10 without the video.

there's nothing we can do anymore for DWUW  :madge:
unless gaga releases the video, everybody will start talking about it and buy it on iTunes ,breaks anaconda record and debuts in top 10 in USA  :spin:  :lolgaga:

I don't care about DWUW video, but I miss the thing around Gaga's music videos, like the huge production, and the hype.

And talking about markets, Latin America loves Gaga, if she toured here, she'd earned a lot (for ARTPOP). DWUW is still on radios :flop:

Videos are important in Europe, DWUW needed a video to take of , but it had the Beats commercial and that's probably the reason why it sold more than Applause

Videos are important for a song's success these days. DWUW didn't have one obviously. The video (I think) was the breaking point for the song to explode to full potential. The song was in a perfect place, it was steadily rising on radio, stable in the top 15 of iTunes, and it's audio video views were great. December 2013 was not a very competitive time IMO. August-November was though. In December, The Monster had already peaked, Timber was riding, slowly but surely, Dark Horse wasn't a single yet, and Say Something never went #1 on BB anyway. There were big songs but no ABSOLUTE smashes, and I think DWUW could've been that with a video
