As expected, C2C is mentioned as a second favourite to win the album for Traditional Pop. If the voting members would look past the sales, Gaga could make history and become the first act to win the top albums for Dance (TF), Pop (TFM), and Traditional Pop (C2C). That'd break Gaga's tie with Mariah Carey, Paul McCartney (as a solo), Michael Jackson, and Eminem in terms of AOTY nominations. That'd be another record for solo acts if I'm not mistaken. She’s a contender this year with ARTPOP. The media quickly labeled the album a flop, but some voters may want to show their support.
