I mean she hosted SNL, performed in The voice final episode, the AMAs, the VMAs, X Factor UK, Graham Norton, Alan Carr, 3 TV shows in Japan,... At least ARTPOP had very good promo in Japan, the US and UK. A lead single that had real longevity and sold 2.6 million in US alone. The album was selling pretty well for November and December, it got 2.3 million worldwide in less than two months. But then, promo stopped. DWUW stalled in the mid-teens of the charts, and no video was made. A blackout ensued and ARTPOP dropped off the charts. I think that's what monster focus on when it comes to ARTPOP, the bad, not the good. You're complaining all the time Let's not talk about September and October We got 3 TV appearances in those months COMBINED (GMA, WWHL, and X Factor UK) It was kinda messy, November and December though was okay but it was too spread out. With Cheek to Cheek they were smart because during release week there was SOO much promo coming in every direction. At least ARTPOP had very good promo in Japan, the US and UK. You're complaining all the time DWUW was promoted properly, but the rest was a mess. ARTPOP didn't get discounts for a looong time, way too little Applause promo, it took them weeks to remove the 18+ from the DWUW audio, no promo outside the 3 main markets and there was no proper second single in Japan. Not to mention how the Applause leak was handled, how the DWUW promo single release was handled and how there was almost no promo during the release week, only SNL.
