She bashed CBS (which airs the NFL games), on Twitter for pulling "her song" Run This Town due to the Ray Rice incident.

He was a football player who got caught punching his wife out on the elevator. He has since been fired.

The NFL pulled Run This Town (which they used during the opening theme song) during an on air discussion of Ray Rice and domestic violence, because of the Chris Brown thing (I'm assuming you know about that ). And then they wanted to resume playing the song on further games and that's when Rihana flipped out.

that has nothing to do with the superbowl   the fact that the NFL wants part of artist's concert earnings and expect them to pay in payments ( ) for the artist to play at their event is ludicrous.

 

well it's quite a platform for artists to promote themselves considering that around one billion people around the world watch it approximately. if someone doesn't wanna do it they are for sure going to find somebody else who yearns for that kind of exposure. Isn't that how the pop music industry works nowadays?
