I didn't get to dress up for my Monster Ball because I didn't have time or money to get an outfit, but next year I am SO going to get myself a faux leather jacket, a Judas-esque scarf, and come in leggings with some black boots.

If the BTWB in NYC or NJ is in January I'll be able to bring my hubby with me and we'd look so amazing :cry: I'd dress him so well in matching rocker gear :flutter:

I've changed my mind about three times now but I think this idea is going to stick. I am going to recreate the outfit that gaga wore to the 2011 grammys which was the vintage Mulger inspired black body suit. I'm also going to make the thigh high heel-less boots.

I wanted to get a tank top, glue dried clay on it in the shape of the different parts, then cover it in faux leather by sewing it on. Of course the clay would have glue on it so the outline would be visible.

For mine I'm thinking foam cushioning. I found sheets of it in different thicknesses at my local craft store. I'll get two long 1 inch thick pieces for the front and back and cut them in the general silhouette of my body then glue them on a short basic tube dress and build the designs on from there. Any sharp edges in the foam will be probably have to be modge podged smooth if they are too hard to cut smoothly. I made the face horns with foam make up wedges and those compressed whenever I cut so it made it really hard to clean them up let alone give them the shape. But when I'm all done building the shapes and designs apply acrylic adhesive and paint it with latex paint.
