You have the opportunity to showcase what your album's all about, the themes of it, the atmosphere it creates, exactly what it should be like in terms of attitude etc, but you just put a picture of your face on it. Almost all album covers are now becoming identical. Which is why everybody should look at Paloma Faith's example of exactly how you do an album cover: I'm not even sure who that is, but that album cover makes me want to check her music out. That's seriously beautiful and epic, I wish more artist put thought into their covers like this. It looks like a movie poster for a fantasy film, that's what I love about it so much.
