Lion Heart 15,041
I believe so. Also with this album, Barbra Streisand made history by having #1 albums six decades in a row.. Although Barbra has been nominated 9 times in the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album category (with no wins) I do believe this time she'll win in this category. ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀

That's a huge achievement, but Tony also accomplished having a #1 at 88. As far as achievements go they both deserve it, but as far as the actual album goes... One has gotten better critical acclaim (C2C) and the other is the seller. The Grammys should be about critical acclaim, but they seem more about drawing in viewers by nominating and awarding the albums that more people own. Valextra 58
Well it could be, even if I don't think in the jazz categories at least, by the way Barbra is one of best-main vocalist of USA in history, it would be a honor share a nomination with her, she's like the Meryl Streep of music, better than see other "new pop girls win" :ghostney:

Pain of fame1 229
omg i hope not..what's taken into account to win the grammy? People vote? Sales?

derek4gaga 3
Maybe, but she hasn't won a Grammy since 1986 despite being nominated numerous times since then. The Grammy's seem to really like Tony though.

When they will give the award the will already have the views.
SpadesToStart 3,460
I'm not too worried. Look at the the past winners for the last 15 years. They LOVE Tony. And ultimately, I think C2C is the better album and quality will prevail. omg i hope not..what's taken into account to win the grammy? People vote? Sales? They will nominate albums with good sales, but at the end of the day the Grammy's pick whoever they want. How else do you explain Arcade Fire winning album of the year? SpadesToStart 3,460
It's likely Tony and Gaga stand a good chance for Best Jazz Vocal Album, so, at least they wouldn't be necessarily walking away empty handed if Barbra did win Best Traditional Pop. All of Tony's albums have been in the Traditional Pop category, not Jazz. You can't be entered in both.

NewYorkCity 10,536
If Grammys always give credit to commercially successful things... why no Grammys Katy Perry? :derpga:
NatureBoy 0
That's if Gags and Tony even get nominated. And I hardly doubt
