There's a sick, disgusting trend right now to completely shun God and blaspheme him. They think they're cool... SMH. it's not a ****ing trend both my parents are atheist, my grandpa was atheist in a time when it wasn't accepted at all. They braught me up without the idea of a God, and I'd have never gotten that idea by myself. and it's the same for most people that live here. we have no reason to believe in a God, there's no proof of it and we're already living a gteat life. A lot of religion doesn't make sense, but I REALLY don't want to go to hell just in case it's real. dont worry. when you die, you'll be in the same state as before you were born: nothingness. when a brain stops functioning, you lose the thing people call a 'soul' (actually just your personaloty, part of your brain) and it doesnt go anywhere. We know for certain things can mutate and evolve over time But theres many hypothesis about evolution like what evolved from what thats nothing more than a theory Theres a lot to evolution and ppl arent always clear on what they mean by "fact" Evolution is a fact. There may be some missing links in the chain of evolution of some species, but must of them are completed and have a satisfying transition. Also, micro and macro-evolution is something happening now. There's plenty of evidence supporting evolution, and today is considered a scientific fact, not a theory. I'd recommend you to read The Greatest Show on Earth, by Richard Dawkins if you still think evolution is just a theory. I mainly believe that, but it's just a "What if". Sometimes I wished I was never raised with a private, religious school. I'm in a private high school right now and they say I'm going to hell. That's kinda the point of science - to discover the truth, not start out with a guess and hope. Evolution is a proven thing. There are no doubts and if you don't believe in it.. well you really don't have the intelligence to support anything tangibly. Also, Stephen hawking is a superbrain. Do you know what everyone in this thread is, in comparison? The stupidity and arrogance of some people who think they're somehow right and he is wrong. Lol "Opinion" & "belief" don't come into this btw. Everything in science is based on some kind of undisputed proof. Facts. Religion is based on what exactly?
