ARTPOP Gypsy 3
I never got the arena more than 4 hours before the show and always got extremely close. I think the Monster Pit wont be that hard to get into if you really want to see her. I wouldn't camp out for this but I know I'll get close. I think ppl will have to do a COMPLETE look like skull paint and tuxedo, not just the skull face paints and wearing a tshirt and jeans. Or those people who decided to just wrap themselves in yellow police tape and put rhinestones on their cheap sunglasses. I'm actually planning on doing this. I wonder if I can still find the pink ponytail wig.
Guest anki
Why is people still arguing about dressing up? Gaga said there was no dressing code to enter. While she corrected herself it did sound shady at the start and yeah, people are stuck on that. Entry to "The Monster Pit" is relegated to the fans who have arrived first, waited all night, + dressed to "Ball." I can't wait to get in the mosh/monster pit! I'm gonna **** you little monsters up with my big monster! I am gonna be obsessed for the next few month trying to figure out how to get the Haus to pick me! ARTPOP Gypsy 3
Okay, I haven't read the whole thread but this is my opinion. Where I was at the MB and I will be most probably at the BTWB (if I'll go of course). It's a great view, you can actually move and dance and breathe. IF the seats will be sold out that's my last option but only the first row otherwise I'll see nothing. We all want the best view and be close to Gaga as much as we can but I guess each fan has his/hers priorities and mine is to have fun and ENJOY the concert as much as possible. I was kind of thinking the same. I had seats at TMB 2.0 so I'm not really familiar with being on the floor and having that experience. To me it looks like any outside the pit (the part you highlighted in red) seems so far away from the actual stage. It seems like you'd only get a good look when they go around the "runway". I like how the Pit does look somewhat big so a lot will have the chance to get in. Edited February 7, 2012 by GagaPixie
FYASKO 38
Is anyone familiar with being on the floor at the Monster Ball? I got a seat each time I went in the lower section, it was nice to have my own space to move around and not be squished. I want to do the Monster Pit this time around, but I'm just not sure if it's going to be uncomfortably crammed? Is there anyone on here who has been in the front row standing for the previous monster balls? And if so, how was that experience? Aside from amazing, was it a bit uncomfortable or? I had LMZ for TMB and I got there at 6 in the morning and was able to get right on the barriers. Truthfully, being able to lean on the barricade and have all the air in front of me, I never even noticed all of the people squished up against me. Plus, it was Gaga. IDGAF about anybody cramming me if I'm able to be close.
ARTPOP Gypsy 3
Honestly, I don't think I'll have to wait overnight but probably will get there in the early morning hours. When I saw her at Scottrade in St. Louis the general admission area/floor wasn't even full, and I think I still saw people coming in when SPW was performing or a little after. The majority of people were seated or in the smaller area - LMZ. I'm just glad that I don't live in a huge city like NYC or LA. Those fans are going to be the one's that will be camping out days in advance if they're that dedicated. Edited February 8, 2012 by GagaPixie
Beyonce 56
I dont think I HAVE to wait all night. I could roll up at 9am and still be towards the front tbh :nails:
Subway Kid 0
So you're filling an enclosed space with people who have been waiting hours and are probably already annoyed/don't like each other. Then you're calling it the Monster Pit. Sounds like a flawless idea to be honest. Such civil and considerate fans too! Nothing will go wrong! I'll take my seat thank you. ARTPOP Gypsy 3
I lined up at 8am the first time I went, and they weren't allowing a line. They handed out wristbands with numbers for when they lined everyone up 2 hours before the doors opened, and was like 30th in line and got right on the barrier in GA. This was in Boston. If it's going to be at the TD Garden again, I might just get a hotel room and run down there at the time they're handing out wristbands so I can be near the front of the line. :cant-wait: I think this would actually be a great idea this time around as well. LOVING the stage but...Is it just me, or can you see a MAJOR problem with the whole 'Monster Pit' idea? Everytime I've been to hotels or studios to try and meet Gaga it's always the same people at the front/meeting her and that's because they live nearby. For them, camping out is so much easier as they can have things brought to them. I know camping out still isn't too brilliant but, image doing it after you've travelled 3 hours just to get to the place! It will ALWAYS be the same people in the 'Pit', getting to meet her. I normally love every idea Gaga comes up with and I can see the innocence in her idea but......I have a bad feeling about this..... I've had to travel 3 hours both times for TMB 1.0 & 2.0 That's why I'm going to try and get to the city the day before. If she comes back to St. Louis I've got family that lives up there so I'll be able to stay with her. Edited February 7, 2012 by GagaPixie
