I did the same at another store but I wanted the Fame displays, they wrote my number and name down and never bothered calling me. They said they would give it to me once the promotion was done since its better than just returning it back since its never going to get used again. But they never bothered calling In *those* situations, I call THEM to remind them gently so they don't forget.Get the name of the person holding it, and ask for the best time to call to make sure it's not thrown away. Somtimes i just call anyway close to the date I know it won't be there, so I can nab someone who will be sure to be familiar with my request. Do YOU own the 4' by 6' Perfect Illusion promo Poster? Ask who's in charge of the posters/banners at a location and then remind them nicely later. Removing them early with box cutters hurts Gaga's advertising impact. I can see doing it if it was illegally plastered. But legitimate displays are a boost to Gaga's image right now. Perhaps replacing one with a nice piece of fan art would work. And don't ask to buy them hhahaha 9/10ths of this stuff will be just given to you! Some places, like the Sunglass Hut (for Versace Gaga Displays) did ask for a donation to their charity so they feel they got some profit from giving the displays away.
