My family is so homophobic , especially my father , and have made my life a living hell when I came out. I applaud u for ur strength and confidence tbh thanks, love. i'm not as strong as you may think. i still go through my emotional and mental meltdowns every so often, and breakdown and cry. Dealing with it becomes easier with time because you get used to it, and you learn to feel more sorry for the homophobe's ignorance, than feeling sorry for yourself. Stay strong.
