I'd personally (if she wasn't gonna do pop) chose RnB over Rock EASILY.

 

So who else is here for a soul/RnB album?

I'd prefer glam rock or classic rock or some sort of metal/EDM hybrid (if such a thing exists) but I would be so down for RnB/ Soul. And I think it will happen eventually. The possibilities with her are darn near endless!

No - stick to dance, jazz, and rock. R&B is boring and tends and was overdone the last 25 years. A bit of R&B influence okay, but we already have Beyonce, Adele, and Timberlake.

Hallelujah! Yes! R&B / Soul is so much more my flavor than Pop or Rock, personally.

Soul I dont think Gaga can pull off (although gaga is always full of surprises). But an album that is RnB influenced sounds like a good idea.

Previous to ARTPOP I was excited by the thought of her foray into slight urban territory. Now, however, even though I think Do What U Want is one of the strongest pop songs shes created thus far, I have literally zero interest in her foraying into urban territory ever again. I don't think it suits her. Her RnB vocal stylings work to an extent, that unreleased Kendrick Lamar feature she did wasn't very good and I think that is more of an accurate representation of Gaga doing rnb.

She would be amazing in a Soul and/or R&B album. Her voice is better suited for those than for Rock and Roll. As much as I love Rock and Roll I expect she would be a dominant R&B artist. Of course, she needs the material to sing.
