You might as well put Gaga out to pasture if she does another duets album with another older artist.

 

Put out some new, fresh music.   She needs to make her mark in the world as a songwriter and singer and leave a legacy.  U2 was a post-punk rock group for like three albums, then took a huge chance and movied ambient, more soulful alternative rock band that created their legacy sound wth Brian Eno, and then moved into experimenting with electronica and synth and rock for three albums and then played it safer after that in the 2000s.

 

They have 22 Grammys, more than any band ever..  In other words, they have built up a legacy of strong songwriting and unique melodies and experimenting and huge tours, many innovative, several to do with art and pop, alter egos for Bono.  To be one of the greats in history, she needs to not lose sight of her original music and make her mark in music and her legacy and break out of the bunch,

 

Or just become more of a niche artist.

One thing is very important - choose the right moment to release the album. Gaga needs success right now and if her album is overshadowed by Rihanna, Adele or KP, this would be a disaster. I'm sure her team has insights about possible releases so her timetable should be coordinated. She needs to have all media attention to herself so that the album could be properly promoted.
