swakby 4,100
Dark Horse may win a grammy, yes. I don't think so about Fancy.. After all it was nominated for 5 categories at the VMA's and it didn't win a single one. Happy by Pharell may win as well As for "Applause", it was eligible last year.We are only left with DWYW, which hasn't got a music video and its chances of winning are less and G.U.Y which, let's face it, was a commercial failure despite the magnificent music video. luckythisway 2,602
Do What U Want may grab a nomination from best collaboration I would love to see that omg Cheek to Cheek is quite impossible to be nominated for Album of the Year, it isn't influential enough, also Applause was released in August last year, if it deserves a Grammy it would have been nominated at this year's Grammys. Do What U Want however deserves a Best Collaboration, ARTPOP deserves Best Dance/Electronic album. Cheek to Cheek the jazz categories. I hope they don't snub her again, I've seen enough. I will move to another planet if Katy gets more nominations than Lady Gaga, they seriously do not value talent but fame/sales if they do that. gaga is way more famous than katy perry tbh They'll probably submit "Dope" for Best Female Vocal Performance (it did chart at #8 and critics loved it) "Do What U Want" could get a collab nomination ARTPOP could get electronic or pop album, but not nominated Album of the Year (Gaga's first album not to get this honor) Cheek to Cheek will slay with Jazz noms. Other than Gaga... I see Beyonce getting quite a few nominations (Album of the Year for sure) no pop for ARTPOP there were too many bigger and more influential pop albums this year but hopefully electronic. I would love to see dope and dwuw tho CHROMATICA

NewYorkCity 10,515
The process begins with members and record companies submitting entries, which are then screened for eligibility and category placement. The Academy's voting members, all involved in the creative and technical processes of recording, then participate in (1) the nominating process that determines the five finalists in each category; and (2) the final voting process which determines the GRAMMY winners. Submission The Road To GRAMMY GoldRecording Academy members and record companies enter recordings and music videos released during the eligibility year which they consider worthy of recognition in the GRAMMY Awards process. Screening Reviewing sessions by more than 150 experts in various fields are held to ensure that entered recordings meet specific qualifications and have been placed in appropriate fields such as Rock, R&B, Jazz, Country, Gospel, New Age, Rap, Classical and Latin, among others. The purpose of screenings is not to make artistic or technical judgments about the recordings, but rather to make sure that each entry is eligible and placed in its proper category. Nominating First-round ballots are sent to voting members in good dues standing. To help ensure the quality of the voting, members are directed to vote only in their areas of expertise; they may vote in up to 20 categories in the genre fields plus the four categories of the General Field (Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Best New Artist.) Ballots are tabulated by the independent accounting firm of Deloitte. Special Nominating Committees In craft and other specialized categories, final nominations are determined by national nomination review committees comprised of voting members from all of The Academy's Chapter cities. Final Voting Final-round ballots are sent to voting members in good dues standing. The finalists determined by the special nominating committees are also included in this ballot. In this final round, Recording Academy members may vote in up to 20 categories in the genre fields plus the four categories of the General Field (Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Best New Artist.) Ballots again are tabulated by the independent accounting firm of Deloitte. Results Results of members' voting are not known until the GRAMMY Awards presentation ceremony when names of the winners are delivered by Deloitte in sealed envelopes. GRAMMY Award winners are revealed during the GRAMMY Awards telecast. http://www.grammy.org/recording-academy/awards/grammy-awards-voting-process?utm_campaign=Voting+Process&utm_source=Twitter
