I was just about to say this. I mean look at how bad they were doing ARTPOP' s release. They have been trashing her and putting her against Katy Perry and others since she released Applause. Maybe you should check their archives for Gaga articles especially around the time she released AP. I don't think I've seem them write anything nice about her. Taylor's is a lead single from a fifth album. I'm glad it went #1 for one week let alone two. Some artists you'd argue that are bigger still haven't gotten a number 1. Gaga is the biggest pop act of the century. She will remain unbothered until someone equally talented comes into the scene, which, given the current state of the industry, won't happen for a looong time.
