I fully agree with you. Gaga should go for her own legacy and career.

Btw Madonna and MJ will always be the king and the queen. When M dies which will take 20-30 years Gaga won't necessarily even be relevant and when someone dies their legend status gets just bigger.

wtf she can live till 100 if she can, which means in 44 years

All artists bring their own thing to the table. The Warhol of pop is an interesting concept. :). Hierarchies and "kingdoms" are simply dumb thnngs people have constructed to try to make thier favorite artists seem superior. Call Madonna the Queen all you want I still prefer Gagas music.

When you look at what Madonna achieved during her career, only the one who will top her will be called ''queen'' of pop

beside that, she's still on top of that category of music.

It's not about the achievements and the sales. It's just that the title Queen of Pop is a part of her legacy, it's not a crown or something that passes to others. Gaga is not following the same path, she is making her own ''crown'' for herself, her own title, her own throne. That's the point of the thread, not Madonna.

In this case, it's the same thing for Rihanna, Britney, Katy, Cher etc.

Why do you put all others in the same sentence though? It's the same for those who offer something new to the table, who add their own page to music history. Cher did it, Britney did it. Katy didn't, she never made something her own, she followed the commercial way and the Blond Popstar way that Britney already brought a decade ago. I can't really decide about Rihanna yet. Anyway, you can't put everybody on the same bag, there are people who do their own thing and people that follow and eat what's left of their legacy.

Of course the good sis is not the queen of pop, she's the Goddess of Music :legend:

Joking aside, I get what you mean though, I mean Gaga still has got a lot of prove.

but i just don't understand the goal of your post. If every artist who bring something new is in their own categories, why point it out ? Every artist bring something new, even if it's subtile.

Every artist that does an innovation doesn't mean that he follows his own path though. I am refering to a small % of artists that make their own legacy, not abotu every artist that does a new thing once. With your way of thinking every human is diffferent so everybody does something new which is an exaggeration.

LOL actually every human is different and bring something new, what a flat way to think about humanity lol

Every human is different but it doesn't mean that every human follows a new path, lol. That would be impossible, to begin with.

Why are you guys always so intent on diminishing Katy, Rihanna, Miley etc? Yes, they're arguably not as innovative as Gaga, but they have their own legacies and talents that should be appreciated as well.
