Two more days and the double disc with bonus tracks and acoustics rendition drops.  I can't wait.  I've been holding off on listening anymore to the album waiting for the deluxe to drop   The deluxe part as described by U2:

"Additional tracks to be released include Lucifer's Hands, The Crystal Ballroom, The Troubles (Alternative version), Sleep Like A Baby Tonight (Alternative Perspective Mix by Tchad Blake) and acoustic versions of some album tracks."

Bono and The Edge do an acoustic rendition of one of the new songs, Every Breaking Wave on some TV show in Italy.   I love the screen backdrop for their performance.  Very cool.

And someone posted one of the deluxe tracks.  Very eclectic  They should have put this on the standard part of the album.   And I love the instrumental part in the middle where The Edge shines.

The Crystal Ballroom

Wow, I see the Little Monsters are just as ugly as anybody else on the internet ragging on other artists if it's not their beloved Lady Gaga doing the unprecedented marketing tool.  Sad.  It's a free album.  Broaden your stupid horizons and listen to it a few times and then like it or not. It's free.   I do it to music all the time and have discovered songs or genres or acts I had dismissed.  I certainly wouldn't whine over getting a free music you can delete if you don't like it.  Okay.  back to Katy Perry and Justin Bieber  and that great music Anaconda and big butts.  Sorry to interrupt.

How immature.

This has nothing to do with Lady Gaga or even U2. This is big business literally forcing it's product on the consumer.

It's ridiculous, and absolutely not okay. How anyone thought this was a good idea or is acceptable is beyond me.

This. It has nothing to do with the music and everything to do with the principle. :applause:

I am one of the few people on here who usually admits when they overreact.  So you're right as far as the tone of my post.  I came off way too strong and immature in my post.  It's just on this site there is such negativity to other artists all the time and slagging them like, oh, Bey only had a hit album because she did a gimmick, blah, blah, and I reacted to some of the comments like U2 is bad music and don't want to hear a song.  That's rich coming from people who rave over Anaconda and Ariana Grande. and J-Lo's booty song.

the largest release ever I had today in my toilet :manicure:

I think they're really shoving it up people's asses if it's automatically downloaded into their folders... no matter how legendary U2 are, let people choose if they wanna have it ffs :wtf:

It didn't download automatically for me, although it showed up as "purchased". In fact, it took me a while to figure out how to actually get it onto my computer. I haven't listened to it yet.

You sound like me.   I couldn't figure it out.  One of my favorite songs off of the album is Sleep Like a Baby Tonight.  Danger Mouse produced it. Bono was raised Catholic.   It's about a pedophile priest.
