Or the feud between JLO and Mariah Carey........? How do you know they were far from ready? Do you have a source? The album was never going to be dark, Katy is way too safe and she changed directions when she got over the divorce depression. You're literally trying to say her + her team wrote, produced, and recorded Roar in less than a month? Actually, she said right here "...that will influence her next project. Katy herself has said that the album was supposed to be released early 2014... but they sped things up summer 2013, and somewhere mid-summer she said 'I think we can release the album before the holidays season'. It IS possible that Roar was done before the rest of the album was completed, still leaving room to rush. Naming songs things like Double Rainbow doesn't exactly make it seem like her team took the time really fine tuning the album. Alas, you could be right, though. There was a change in direction but it happened probably about a year before the album came out. I agree that the album is lazy and basic, but that's just who Katy is for the most part. If they had changed direction at the last minute there would still be remnants of the dark songs on there, but there's nothing even remotely dark (except for the word dark in Dark Horse) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Katy was burning her wig and was supposed to go all dark and look how that turned out. Album was rushed on purpose. GGD is more obsessed with Katy Perry and dragging her than who the forum overall is actually about,GAGA. It's sad,but it's true.
