Duella Dvil 10,186 Posted September 8, 2014 Share Posted September 8, 2014 I don't HATE it I just miss the other aspects and really didn't like ARTPOP musically speaking (speaking as a music major, i am not a fan of the repetition) I wanted it to be more connected to the album. I just didn't see RAVE in an artistic way. Was offered to  go the the first in ATL, but i didn't because of the ARTRAVE title. Tbh I was hoping she would try and expand on her storytelling a little more. Make it more like a proper 'pop-musical' kinda show. I suppose I wanted a more developed theme. The Monster Ball storyline wasn't completely clear, but it was enough so that she could try to fix a broken car, Â Â ride the subway, Â and eventually get consumed by the Fame Monster The Born This Way Ball also had the theatrics to allow her to be birthed from a giant vagina, come on stage on a mechanical horse, become the motorcycle/human hybrid from the cover, and get hung up as a piece of meat. Â Plus G.O.A.T was awesome. I suppose it just seemed a little more 'put together' and choreographed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjfWoZka1I0 ARTrave was really fun, don't get me wrong, but it seemed like more of a party with Gaga than some sort of pop-spectacular.
