He doesn't have to do anything. I understand him.

Look what happened to Adam Lambert, he is the 'gay from American Idol'.

Que? :deadbanana:

Most of the '' normal gay '' celebs are in the closet or have beards. Yay them. :giggle:

Okay okay I get it, I just think you are wrong to say that gays will be only accepted if they act straight, cuz that's what you saying basically.

That's not even what he said :awkney: not everyone can be a lady gaga.. Not can they be am Adam lambourt. Gay culture needs it's katy Perry's and Bruno Mars to relate to the public as well.

He may be playing safe but who the fcuk cares at least he's honest about what he really is. Hes not obliged, neither anyone or just because a gay got famous.

I truthfully do not see the problem whatsoever.

it feels like If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor?

"If you have revolutionary potential, then you have a moral imperative to make the world a better place"

Btw, his face is super huge.

I don't understand why Riff Raff didn't get more backlash from that.  Is it simply that nobody knows who Riff Raff is?

I mean he can do what he wants, I just don't really like the way he worded it.

"Being gay was never an issue for me growing up, therefore I'm just gonna pretend it's not an issue for everyone."

I mean I'm all for normalizing but why does that have to include a lack of identity and this obsession of "Must act like straight macho man"

Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~

Gay is a sin  :thirst:

jk love u gay fans  :koons:

This is litterally like saying "I love Pie Pie" They're litterally the same :emma:

Gaga fans = gays :koons:

It's not that they don't know, its that they don't want to remember. He's like the guy you wake up to after having a one night stand while drunk. You didn't mean to do it, but now that its done people want to move on and forget about it.

I can't be free if my hands are tied... 🧟‍♀️👰🏻

he would be a MASSIVE FLOP if he was always "gay this, gay that", he is not forced to do anything

gaga should take notes tbh

are you seriously suggesting that lady gaga, one of the most successful entertainers in the world, tone down her support of gay people so she can achieve the fleeting hype of an artist that just debuted?

I'm not going to force a role on someone that they're not comfortable embodying.

Furthermore, he's openly gay. It's not like he's hiding in the closet. Honestly, wouldn't it be refreshing to have someone who just happens to be gay rather than is the new face of LGBT? I think we're getting really close to that time.

He has no interest in being the "gay singer". He'd rather be a singer who happens to be gay. I think that's great. When will we stop forcing people into roles simply based on their s-xual orientation?

Yes, but not someone who explicitly says they don't want sh*t to do with a major cause. He's pretty much celebrating the fact that not even mentioning his s-xuality beyond coming out has spared him mean internet comments. It was a pretty bad choice of words.

That's his prerogative!

For a group of people rebelling against expectations that society has set, you're certainly projecting expectations onto him for the sole reason that he's gay.

In all honesty, I'm ****ing ready for the normalization of homos-xuality versus the glorification of or hyperfocus on homos-xuality.
