But the stage, the lights and the live music/singing makes up for it imo. It's still good. Psychedelic 1,098 Posted September 3, 2014 Share Posted September 3, 2014 oh no, the moans were endless about the shortening of BTW songs well, I probably didn't notice them but still that show is overrated just for that castle which is astonishing during the first 5 songs then becomes dull when you realize there is nothing more to it, while the artRAVE is being very underrated imo! the only thing that annoys me is the shortening of ARTPOP songs tbh. i would probably be happy again if we got Aura, Sexxx Dreams and Swine in full. Even my non-fan friends loved it, and other people from my school did too. the only thing that annoys me is the shortening of ARTPOP songs tbh. i would probably be happy again if we got Aura, Sexxx Dreams and Swine in full. Swine isn't that short though, I didn't even notice until I watched videos of my show. The setlist is just so random, the choreos look messy on the outfits the dancers are wearing and idk it looks weird when they're all dancing on the catwalks, the wardrobe is messy, the shortening of the songs is messy, swine is messy, Gaga's Gypsy wig and dress are messy But I think when you're on live on the show you don't even care because of the adrenalin and happiness but yeah it is messyimo Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Really bad merch No one good spot to stand, every place has its ups and downs Extremely tall stage makes it hard to see Setlist feels kind of random (closing with Swine then Gypsy?) Some parts aren't as creative (video content, certain costumes, props) Gaga's dancing isn't as amazing (understandable) LOTS of backing track artRave pros: Fun theme/show Not as competitive as the BTWB Monsterpit/Keyholder Lots of crowd interaction without creating as much "take me backstage!!" competition Beautiful opening outfit, onstage costume change, other cool new things The ARTPOP songs sound WAY better live One of the coolest stages ever Standing under the runways The party atmosphere/almost like a real rave (without sketchy d--gs) She still sings live+puts on a great show It can feel rushed but also not as overcrowded as the BTWB Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
LilVenusian 579 Posted September 4, 2014 Share Posted September 4, 2014 Overall I think it has a less clear aesthetic and direction than her previous tours, but I think gaga intended it to be more about the experience and the music (if you love ARTPOP than this whole show will give you so much life). The stage is also probably the coolest one shes done yet ,especially when you see it in the flesh and you literally have gaga dancing on top of you . So yes it is a bit messy when watching from afar, but being in the pit and watching the show come to life around you is an amazing, unmissable experience, especially if you really love all the songs on ARTPOP...
