This is why conservatives make me cringe and why I feel negatively about religion. And you can tell me all you want that this isn't how "real" Christians treat people, but guess what, it is! Sadly some people especially teenagers can't stand living in the shadows for a long time so they try to tell the truth to their parents. Perhaps the majority of Christians hate gay people but my Christian parents are very supportive of me as is my entire family. It's just people using religion as an excuse to hate the gays. There's no reason to hate religion as a whole for that, although I can see where you're coming from. :) It's hard not to hate religion when people like this always make the news. It's like hating vegetarian people because the majority of them throw buckets of paint on those who wear fur and preach aggressively to those who eat meat. (Not the case but first thing that came to mind as an example.) BTW I know this video is real but imagine if it was faked to get so much money. That'd be absolutely brilliant.
