Fiendman 237
Are you guys seriously debating whether this old dying woman deserves sympathy or not? She's not Hitler. Come on.
NewYorkCity 10,536
That says more about your limited sense of humor than her responsibility to cater to it Nearly everyone deserves sympathy in death, no matter what you personally think of them. Has she killed anyone? Has she indirectly killed anyone? Is she a parasite like Perez? Seems like for her Palestinian people didn't dreserve any simpathy for diying (no matter what she personaly thinks of them). Why should anyone have simpathy for her? craig 680
Joan may have her faults, but she was a pioneer for women in comedy, endured personal tragedy (like her husband's suicide), and came of age when insult comedy was much more socially accepted (see Don Rickles). Jjang 2,262
He didn't, but his actions are more reprehensible to the point at which I would expect other people to start having no sympathy in death for them, not that I believe his actions were so morally wrong that he doesn't deserve to be respected in death. To be fair, you don't really allow anyone to say anything that differs from your opinion in the Israel/Palestine crisis situation. In both that and this thread, you're allowed to speak your minds but there is a lot more hate for someone having a disagreement with the general consensus in that thread than this one. *If Joan literally said "Americans deserve to die" meaning you and your family included, would you still think in the same way? answer in the most honest way possible. Evan Peters 10,759
So many of you think Joan Rivers is the only ****ing comedian in the world who doesn't have offensive material jfc. Stop treating her like she's some tyrannical dictator who's killed millions. Leave the woman in peace. I don't persoanlly find her funny but I do hope she gets better. I've heard she's a great person in actuality :/ emma roberts is an abuser

Personally? I wouldn't take her seriously seeing as she is American. If she was from a foreign nation? I really don't know. I feel like I just wouldn't take her seriously. But I would lose respect for her. Again, I think she would deserve sympathy in death either way.
