I honestly thought "Ultraviolence' would kind of be like that, esp having heard Black Beauty and Y&B & Once upon a dream. I don't really know what to think about the producers' habit of only choosing artists who are "hot" at the moment.... Adele the last time, and now Sam Smith or Lana.... There are so many artists that aren't huge at the moment but that would kill it in a James Bond theme. Maybe after the jazz album, they'll start considering Gaga as an option...? If I had to choose someone for the job, that would either be Gaga or Alison Goldfrapp. Goldfrapp was born to sing a James Bond theme - a lot of her earlier material was actually inspired by John Barry's work. Lana would take it seriously and knock it out of the ballpark.
