Yeah cause having a number one album and a debut album that is still on the top 50 of Billboard (whilst ARTPOP is nowhere to be found after 10 months) clearly means you're a C-List singer :coffee:

SAM SMITH is an AWESOME singer and fits the James Bond Theme so much better than the lame Lana, who is so overrated on this board...

It sucks that this movie isn't just a movie anymore instead of promo for C-list singers

Hm, one has a 5M-selling album and the other had a #2 hit this year. I can't imagine what B-list and A-list must look like ;)

Eek, kinda hope not. Can't really see a Lana song properly fitting with a Bond theme, and I don't think Sam's been around long enough for it to make sense for him to do it.

I think that with Lana's sleek, kind of s-xy, Nancy Sinatra-esque vibe, she could do something that would work!

Why in this whole world would Sam Smith be even chosen :wtf:

he's like the most overrated artist of 2014 and is just bad

Lana>>>>>>>

She's basically a bond girl

His impeccable vocal production, emotional tenderness/visceral performances and versatility would beg to differ.

I think Lana is an obvious choice, but, who knows what Sam Smith could pull out of his bag?

Imo "lists" are more worldwide recognition, not sales.

Lana's voice would be SO perfect for this, I can't even imagine the kind of masterpiece she would be able to make for a James Bond movie
