One Five Ten 70
no its not thats a completely different issue skinny shaming is genuinely offensive and ridiculous because its like yeah praise overweight people for being unhealthy, doing nothing and eating **** under the premise of 'body positivity' while ridiculing people who actually take their physical health seriously, exercise and eat well i totally agree with what natalia kills said What's 'genuinely offensive' is your assumption at all fat people aren't healthy, and all skinny people take their health seriously. The dragging of AATB here is unnecessary: Meaghan when referring to "skinny b---hes" follows the line up with "I'm just playing - I know you think you're fat but every inch of you is perfect from the bottom to the top." She's saying that women are beautiful at any size, which I agree with - as long as they are healthy. As for Minaj, anyone who takes that outro seriously deserves to get mad. It's NICKI MINAJ - she's merely saying f*** those skinny b---hes in the club as a way of saying - move out of the way cause I'm here and I'm s-xy. It's an empowerment anthem for bigger girls - she's not actually saying that skinny women can't be s-xy too. As for the objectification of men a--logy, I'm merely saying that (like men), skinny women have been at the forefront of society with larger women being pushed to the sidelines never to be seen as s-xy. The reason all these songs are coming out now is because of the LACK of these type of ideals in media, and it's totally refreshing. "Eat up children. Life is too short" - Lady Gaga, one week ago. WARHOL 0
I bet you if Natalia wrote a song and said "**** all you fat b---hes lol just kidding" You'd all drag her to hell and back I think natalia was making a great point but then kind of curved off of it! I believe what she was trying to say is.. Don't shame anyone's body My sister had a eating disorder because she was bullied for being so skinny.. So trust me it does exist she would over eat and she would eat very bad food just to gain weight But her metabolism works too fast and she wouldn't gain weight So yes there are skinny women who don't like being told "you need to eat more" just like there's women who don't like being told "you need to stop eating" All the "thick" woman in here saying **** off natalia for trying to invent "skinny shamming" are just as pathetic as the "skinny" woman who tell fat girls to puke their food Some of you here are being pathetic.. Don't try to fight bullying with bullying And that's where Natalia's tweet Hate+ hate = hate Comes in handy
Miel 15,009
Telling a skinny woman that a man would never date them because they don't have curves is as disgusting as telling a heavier woman that a man will never date them because they're not skin and bones. It's a double edged sword. Mocking anyone for their weight or tit size or ass size is tacky and disrespectful and it's appalling to think that it's considered 'acceptable' to make fun of woman who doesn't have the curves to look good dancing in a club. I agree. Shaming anybody's body size in that manner is horrible, imo. 3 points in and ready for more

You make a very valid point, especially adding in context for that Meghan song. Also, I'm really glad you mentioned the quote from Gaga. On the context of thin aesthetic idealism, I think it is incredibly hurtful, just as bad or even as worse as "skinny shaming". 3 points in and ready for more

If there's one thing I love about natalia it's that her mouth has no filter and she isn't afraid to speak up She's spoken about many issues And she's always talking about how she's not gonna please anyone which is why she doesn't do her eyebrows
South Blonde 6,059
Too many songs with "skinny b---hes" in the lyrics nowadays The fact that we can't even tell which one isn't a good sign at all Don't you think maybe they are the same thing? Love and attention?
WARHOL 0
What's 'genuinely offensive' is your assumption at all fat people aren't healthy, and all skinny people take their health seriously. What's genuinely offensive is you thinking that just because someone is skinny means they have no feelings and everyone can tell them "you need to eat more" Also you mentioned how Megan said "just kidding" about the skinny part So let's say gaga wrote the AATB song (and I know she wouldn't but let's say she did" And she said FCK FAT BITCHES JUST KIDDING Instead of skinny b---hes You'd be okay with it right? I mean cause she is saying just kidding So who cares if she calls someone fat a b---h it's all a joke right? How many people haven't committed suicide because someone calls them fat? Or ugly? Or anorexic? Or *******? And then the bully will be like I WAS JUST PLAYING Playing or not it can be very offensive
