As much as I love ARTPOP, it's really nothing special in the grand scheme of things. Calling that mess better than BEYONCÉ is just pure delusion. I'm not even a Bey stan. This is the only album I've heard from her all the way through, but I keep going back to it. I can still see myself listening to it in ten years, I don't know about ARTPOP. Its simply a landmark. It is a difficult listen, I don't like it that much... but Beyoncé fully developed a concept in the best way possible, the promotion is outstandingly genius and the message is great (although Beyoncé signing about "hating perfectionism"...lmao). craig 680 Posted August 28, 2014 Share Posted August 28, 2014 After all the release hype, Beyonce only had one top 10 hot (like Gaga) and it only last about 6 months in top 100.Lot of Beyonce's songs are boring (unless you love slow R&B), lyrical themes all about s-x and relationships (kind of dull).
