You people make it so hard for me to keep my promise of not posting in this thread anymore. This thread was made trying to refer to the UK as a poor country, and mocking it to try and make USA look better, when it's not like there's much noticeable difference of day to day life between UK and USA because of what this article talks about. You're not being stupid, you're just trying to defend an article that's wrong and ignorant which that was written by someone who is very biased. I just want to clarify, I'm not trying to make you feel that way at all, it's just the article isn't taking some important factors regarding the UK into account which would greatly change it's apparent positioning. Where is the mocking? All I see are numbers being compared. There is like one sentence in the article that is unnecessary, but besides that all I see is numbers. I feel like if u wanna make a nationalistic thread, quality of life measurements would be better than G.D.P. Europe would completely destroy the U.S with countries like Sweden and Switzerland etc...
