Oh. Umm, did you install all the other updates from the regular Windows Update thing. If not install all of them, reboot and it should start downloading.

It's gone up to 56.8MB now I guess it is installing, just slowly. I haven't been on my laptop since Sunday.

Don't be. They do everything for you :emma: All you do is click a few buttons and just sit back and watch it do it's thing. Nothing get's deleted as long as you click upgrade and not clean install you should be fine.

Does it allow you to do a clean install if you're doing the free upgrade from 7?

I prefer to back up my files elsewhere and do a clean install

I'm not sure. Everyone is saying it's better to upgrade so you are sure to be activated then you can do a clean install if you like because i'm not sure if the upgrade thing asks you if you want to clean install or not.

You have to upgrade the existing copy of the OS first, that will bind its license to Windows 10, and then you can format the disk and do a clean install WHEN Microsoft releases the ISO files (which hasn't happened yet)

Then I probably will just do the upgrade and be done with it.

I'll wait a day or two to see other people's experience with it first though.
