What do you think of Bobby as Gaga's manager?

Stop hating on (Gaga and) Bobby

You can't do that much big things in terms of promo without a management division

Gaga was under Atom Factory when she was with Troy (November 2013), and, when Bobby became her manager, she wasn't under management division. They joined Artist ( Live) Nation in June, and since then they are able to do bigger and bigger promos. Also, the Applause GMA premiere was Troy's work.

Stop hating on management, it isn't easy

You (And other people) think that you would be the best manager, but in reality, you wouldn't be able to manage Gaga (or any artist) for a week.

Also, you can't except much from a Jazz song / album

In the 1940's (Around that time) it would have slayed, but, people now usually don't listen to jazz

dude I know I sounded like I was throwing shades but honestly i wasn't. I was just wanting people to reassure me of Bobby's promoting ability so I get persuaded and maybe have some higher hopes for Gaga's future career, because so far I don't see any huge progress, therefore asked for some answers and see if I missed out some that Bobby did for Gaga. (No shade,)

So you mean G.U.Y. flopped because Bobby and Gaga didn't have a company division aiding them? What about Interscope? And so is ARTPOP BALL the work of LiveNation?Okay, one thing I'm confused is: What is the difference between Interscope and LiveNation, Gaga seems to be under both of these companies but really what does each company do? Do they do the same or they are responsible for different things?

I wasn't shading you also, I just got fed up with all the stuff members have been saying these past days

Interscope basically puts out her albums, music videos.. Everything Gaga has made

ArtistNation / Atom Factory is in charge of marketing, promo, music videos also, performances, tours..

I like dancin', and ponies....

he's doing great with C2C so what?

 Gosh!

Please re-read my original posts!

I said I didn't believe Bobby handled the ARTPOP era well from when he took over, but in light of Gaga saying she wanted to move on from DWUW etc. I dont hold it against him.

I also said Cheek to Cheek is being promoted exceptionally well for an album of that genre which is just a side project of hers

and again, I will say his true test will be when her next solo album comes out, because that's when it will really matter for him to market her successfully

I dont know why people are debating trivial points like when/why she split with Troy, when I clearly stated my opinion.

Accept it and get over it. If you disagree, good for you. I accept that as well

There aren't leaks because music isn't that anticipated as it was for ARTPOP. Who would risk going to the jail leaking cover of old classic. Also releases aren't on the time. We still didn't get that video for second single

DWUW or ICGYABL? Cause ICGYABL didn't have a release date to begin with, and we have it. There is a good reason DWUW was never released.

"Exclusive"... Right

Yes because they reported on it first. How are you going to dispute that

Anyway. I don't how this has gone from an opinion on Bobby's work so far to debating over trivial facts like this. I suggest you do some homework... its all out there on the net: what happened, and when it happened, reported by credible sites. If you don't want to believe it too bad.

I shall not discuss this further

It was supposed to come out last week. Yesterday another video was supposed to debut

Troy isn't a vocalist, songwriter, or producer. He was responsible for the business side of things, not the music side. Music choices fall under the direction of the record label, who actually has music professionals on staff, in cooperation with the artist. Thats how the music business works.
how was this different from what I said?

G.U.Y. flopped because of the song, the fact it was the third single from an album that was no longer selling well, and the amount of time between it and the single before. It was a song that was going to be hard for the general radio listening demo to digest and PDs knew it, so they didn't give it a chance. PLUS, Interscope didn't do a good job of pushing it to radios (yes, that is their job!) as it never even made it to 10 million A.I.s. People don't buy third singles, if they don't hear them!

The Tour is the work of Live Nation, as far as being a sponsor, scheduling, ticket distribution and pricing and promotion. Live Nation has a management arm- Artist Nation, and that is the team that Gaga and Bobby signed on with in the middle of June. A global artist at Gaga's level needs a full global team with lots of resources around the world, and that is what she is getting with Artist Nation.

Interscope is the record label. They are responsible for the music. They fund the albums, videos, promo for the music, and put the pressure on radio stations to play the music. They also provide A&R people for selection of songs, collabs, etc. and help set up different radio opportunities for promo.
