Can I be honest without people thinking I'm biased though? In my opinion Gaga should be even higher just for the fact that her performance was unexpected. The reactions were authentic. For a second, lots of people were actually watching the death of a pop star. And the performance fits Paparazzi perfectly. 

 

I'm sorry, but that Michael Jackson's performance in particular is overrated. Madonna's was good, but it's overrated as well.

a lot of Micheal's stuff is super overrated tbh, I mean he was super talented but some people act as if everything he did was something out of this world, like that performances for example, it was good but it only made it to number one simply because he is michael jackson
