It was more of an embarrassed, shy and/or coy tone. She followed it up with a discussion about how she broke up with Troy and how so much happened and ruined the plans. It's basically her admitting she had grander plans for it, that it was largely Troy and her's baby (as opposed to just her own) and that it all fell apart when her and troy broke up.
