I thought he was okay. At least he wasn't as one dimensional as the other villains that were like "I want to destroy stuff because evil". I didn't quite understand his origins and initial motivations, I thought that wasn't really clear and was a bit tricky.

The one thing that did bother me was Baron Von Strucker. Like, he had the coveted after credits hype in Winter Soldier, was hyped to death afterwards, only for him to have two lines and die 20 minutes in. Such a non event. One of my first Marvel disappointments tbh...

Omg this film slayed me, I loved it so much more than the first one truly amazing

I have few things that bugged me tho, like the vision look was so roughly cared. I expected him to be this purplish glowy color instead he literally looked like painted on. Althought his birth was my favourite part of the movie I think they could have played a little more with the CGI on him

I think QS's death was poorly handled. Imo if someone had to die was Hawkeye, the whole movie they have been building his character actually made me care about him and finally they killed someone who was non-event the whole movie + the way he died was really unbelieveble, like the guy could literally make the time stop .... I would have bought it if it was in situation where he couldn't use his powers etc., it just felt rushed imo andthey should have gave him more character development so I could be like ....oh noooo...instead of.... oh welp another one bites the dust I guess 

What I didn't like about Ultron was his programing or the lack of it, I could have used few more minutes interaction btw JAVRIS and Ultron before he goes bad **** insane just so he could have better/clearer reason to want to kill the avengers. 

As to the rest of Ultron I think it was amazing performance by James, he managed the character perfectly. It wasn't the same generic bad robot whants to kill the world etc. It was way mire comples, there was one line when he captured BW when he said sth like .... I have no one else to say this to /// it was really breathtaking moment like I felt sorry for him. Truly in this film u could feel as much symphaty for Ultron as u do for the avengers. Even thought I could have used a few more mimutes with them fighting him. I will let that slip just because of how good James did him justice.

 

As whole I could have used more time in certain scenes and less time in others but I really liked it and can't wait for Civil War and see how CA and IM's friendship will fall apart

How did you guys watch it? It's premiering on 04/30 worldwide except in Chile

It was released as early as 13th in some places, in Asia it was released since 20th and I was fortunate for being around.

​UK. I work for a company that has franchises within a cinema chain so I got to go to an early showing of it. 

I wasn't that impressed with the film. My interest in the MCU has lessened a bit now. I think I might need to watch it again, watching it at like 1am wasn't fun.

Ultron himself is pretty cool for the most part though :) and I liked Scarlett Witch and Vision is awesome. Didn't like the ending though, way too Michael Bay-ish without getting into spoilers.

​YES though I don't think it could be a prequel because imo it'll be a bit too late in terms of Scarlett's age.

I'm really curious about Phase 4 though. What with Guardians expanding, Thor maybe ending, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange and Inhumans maybe they'll focus on the Cosmic side of things? Because it's not like there are that many more Earth-bound characters to introduce that would make an interesting movie, besides sequels and team-ups... (I'm not 100% sure)?
