Gaga is killing her own fantasy

I was actually observing Gaga and her behaviour for a long time now and this is what I've realised..

The most brave and vulnerable thing to do is to show your real self to the world. At the beginning of her career, Gaga was so reserved and mysterious only because she was afraid of our reaction to her. She was insecure in so many ways. She's just a wounded soul as many of us are too. However, as time went on, she realized and learned so many things about herself and the world. Her life has changed so much. She's truly loved by a man now, which makes her feel more confident about herself. She has so many fans who cheer for her every day, so she feels like she's doing the right thing. In order to heal our souls, we need love and acceptance from the surrounding world. Gaga has it now, so she's comfortable enough to show her real self now. She's not afraid to reveal that she's just like us, ordinary people. And that is a positive and therapeutic thing for her.

I understand and agree with what you're saying and I miss that too. But she's allowed to evolve. I'm glad some people are enjoying the change and I hope Gaga is happy too.

I don't think there's any denying that there's been a change though.

Tbh, I see it as becoming lazy.

Like she is just not trying so hard anymore. Just compare the BTW promo campaign with the ARTPOP one.

It's understandable though, after so much success she might feel that she doesn't need to put that much effort into what she does, but just sit on the glory of what she has already achieved. (Not singing some of the choruses but just yelling "put your hands up" instead comes to mind)

I'm not really blaming her for that...I mean, this is her job, but life is not just about your career. Sucks for us of course, but what can we do...she is just not driven to succeed anymore

Ok that interview is the b---hiest I've ever seen Gaga  :toofunny:

Most of her fame era interviews were like this. People wanted to know about her as a person and she wanted to talk about music and her work, so she constantly had a wall up and felt the need to defend herself. Plus others had a bad perception of her, asking her rude questions. This is what the OP is talking about. A gaga who was mysterious, and that wasn't like any other celebrity out there, putting all their life in the media.

I see what you mean by the way. And I've totally felt like you before. But if Gaga is happy with sharing her life and toning down her looks then we should be happy for her. She's a person above everything, and she makes the decisions for her life not us as her fans.

I guess we just have to get used to it.

She removed her aura and she can't go back anymore.

This says it all. Very sharp words!

She was 22, 23... now she's 28.

Are you the same now that you were in 2008?

And I can't at people missing her b---hy interviews (I do too), but when she says a b---h comment we get a full thread complaining on what she has said

It's sad to see how much gaga has declined in success, quality and musically

It could simply be that she is at a completely different place than she was five to six years ago.

Number one, people change a great deal from their early twenties to their late twenties. The part of your brain that is responsible for judgment, decision making, reasoning, inhibitory control & personality continues to develop until you are around 25. In other words, there is a good chance you will feel differently about many things at 28 than you did at 22 or 23. (thank goodness ;) )

Number two, life happens. The girl in that video hadn't had the immense fame, responsibility and pressure that Gaga has now experienced. At that time, Gaga hadn't tested borderline positive for Lupus or had a near career ending injury. She didn't have three pins in her hip and hadn't spent four months in a wheelchair. She hadn't lost her Grandfather, who she was close to. Gaga still felt invincible.

At the time of that posted video, Gaga didn't feel the full level of responsibility of the fans who would come to adore her. She had yet to hear all their stories. She hadn't received the text from a young, bullied Jamey Rodemeyer. Sadly, Gaga had a future ahead of her, filled with many more bullied teens and young adult fans who would take their own life.

Back during the early TF days, Gaga hadn't experienced everyone suing her, even some of her close friends. She still believed in loyalty and that people were in this whole deal for the same reasons she was. She was idealistic and unrealistic.

Gaga had yet to experience the heartbreak of people she respected and loved betraying her and turning on her in her darkest hours. Gaga hadn't come CLOSE to feeling how the media could attack and tear a person apart and watching her own fans (the ones she had just broken her hip for) do the same, when she needed them most.

A lot of serious and life altering events can happen to a person in a five or six year period, especially someone like Gaga, who went from being an unknown to a household name. (and a media punching bag) She's a different person than she was five or six years ago, because a lot of **** has happened in that time period.

Sorry but did u quote me because you agreed? Im confused because I didn't mention the video you are talking about and we kinda are saying most of the same thing o.O

But I do agree with everything you said tho'. It has to be really tough what she has been true, and that is why how she is now.

I get your point and I think you're right.

Even now that she's promoting C2C she's acting like a more normal person she even told us to call her Lady, just 'Lady' no Gaga.

But then again I will always support and love her.

The sad part is she can't go back to her 'mysterious intruiging' self, even if she wanted to. She's become too much of an open book and now there isn't much we don't know about her.

Once a magician becomes candid about themselves and their work the magic is lost.

She wrote Scheibe because of this interview? OMG Are you kidding right? She wrote it in 2011 and the interview is like 3 years before :dies:

Boom?

You are so wrong

Sweetheart. She wrote it in 2010 in Germany. Also, it was inspired by a "off the cuff improvisation of poker face" where she sang "I wanna roll with him a hard pair we will be... Scheiße! A little gambling is fun when you're with me... Scheiße!" It's literally in an interview on YouTube. Do your homework before you look downs again. You tried tho!

:applause: Slay.

Just being honest :)
