Apparently i'm a f'ing moron for knowing the truth People are acting like it is such a bad thing that she uses auto tune on every song. It's just so it is 100% perfect. Duh. I am NOT criticizing her for using auto tune or any form of pitch correction. It makes studio music better. Auto tune, pitch correction, same thing basically. Yes it is. Deal with it. The entire song. You can hear it. Many songs, you can't hear it, because of the reverb and delays. There are parts of songs where she doesn't use pitch correction, like in Hair the "Oh oh oh, oh oh oh" at the ends of the choruses. But the melodies and harmonies are always pitch corrected to ensure they are on point with each other. You're just dumb and you think you know everything. You have no idea what autotune is. Just because the songs get mastered to sound studio perfect doesn't mean it's autotune. You act like everything that has been touched by mastering is autotune, it's not. I'm a fcking music major who has spent many hours in a vocal studio along with a doctor, a with a PhD in Musical Engineering, learning the difference between autotune and de-essing. Just cause there's a hiss from the keys mic in Dope doesn't mean that You and I has been autotuned. Stop saying that things are 100% true if you have no clue, cause it's clearly apparent you haven't a clue, dude. dude I was supporting you. I was saying you're right. We know she CAN sing, but none of us want jazz nonstop. its good that shes diverse and hopefully wont stop being...well we know she wont because nothing she says is ever 100 percent true. mic 1,415 Posted August 13, 2014 Share Posted August 13, 2014 Actually I wasn't a fan I her going acoustic but then I thought about acoustic versions of paparazzi, telephone, poker face, born this way, the edge of glory, you and I and do what you want :P the fact is they are all godly - if she keeps popish writing style and that kind of light piano playing it can indeed make interesting album.
