Brooke Hoegan 1,018 Posted August 10, 2014 Share Posted August 10, 2014 don't know what's the point in doing an acoustic album of new songs in her current state of career... many songs from her previous albums are so good they can be rerecorded as acoustic and put on a record... it would contain her career highlights without the dance music shtick + she could be making new pop album at the same time but making an acoustic album with new songs after not-so-great performance of ARTPOP + right after another "acoustic" album C2C ? I'm afraid that she doesn't have any idea what she could do with dance music anymore and that's worrisome it means she (temporarily) burnt out OR she really wants to get married and have a baby, hence she's making album that will be promoted at most by piano performances not exited at all, I'm actually sad :emo: Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Cheek Too Cheek are Jazz music, most instruments are unplugged. i,e: drum sets, brass sections, double bass, piano, etc. Acoustic album is an album that minimize the use of electric powered instruments, i,e: electric guitar, drum machine, etc. She tells the Cheek To Cheek will be acoustic. Giving us what kind of expectation we can have with it. There is no indication she is doing different album. Otherwise the line would be written like this: "SHE PLAYED 5 NEW MUSIC FROM CHEEK TO CHEEK, AND SAID SHE'S DOING AN ACOUSTIC ALBUM." That is what I can take from it anyway. Amazing how missing a comma could make it have different meaning. But like I said it was just what I think she tried to say. Not against anything. But I just don't want the fans being upset at her again like usual.
