kp_centi 12 Posted January 31, 2012 Share Posted January 31, 2012 Yes! I am in the process of ripping audio from Rock Band using Line In. All I can probably get is Drums, Bass Guitar, and Guitar. Thing that sucks is when I record it will be at 90% speed, i have to speed it up to 119 so it will be correct BPM and pitch, and i'm having a bit hard time with that, SINCE i am not sure how they are suppose to sound like isolated at the right pitch and tempo. If anyone would like to help, it would be appreciated. Now since this is a work in progress, I'm not done editing the files, so I will be putting out tagged versions of it. I will be sure to put out a untagged version. Also please don't share this outside of GagaDaily until I say so. So far all I have done is Bass Guitar 1st Cut - Bass Guitar (Resampled - Tagged) Bass Guitar (119 - Resample) [Tagged - kp_centi].wav 2nd Cut - Bass Guitar (Tonal - Tagged) Bass Guitar 2 (119 - Tonal) [Tagged - kp_centi].mp3 3rd Cut - Recorded on a more recent Engine. - Bass Guitar (Pro Default) For some reason this did not start recording at the start. kp_centi 12 Posted January 31, 2012 Author Share Posted January 31, 2012 Thing is I did the math right, it ends up being 107.1 (or to be exact 107.102 - BPM Analyzer said it was the same too) so I did a resample(PITCH and TEMPO changes, frequencies change) up to 119. I don't think they did much decoding. They might have used the code editing method to mute certain instruments then auto play then line in record. Then so on and so on. Dunno, but I do know for a fact it was difficult, considering the only person whom was able to do it was charging like $250 for each stem or something like that.
