Computer 10,973
The title change. The Fame is disgusting? Not here for Katy shading the best album of 2008 💚💛💕❣⭕💢💢 | ⓜⓔⓡⓡⓨ ©ⓗⓡⓘⓢⓣⓜⓐⓢ
GypsyPrince 237
Sorry but I expect variation and pushing boundaries the least from Katy out of all the pop stars.
Sister 9,907
Look at how extreme of a change that Miley Cyrus went through in quite a short time and you will see that anything can happen. Katy Perry has to grow with her audience or she will lose her fame anyway, so changes will have to come forth, same as with any other artist in every other genre of music. The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

Sister 9,907
Miley's Bangerz album didn't push boundaries thoughTrue but it's also true that when most artists, especially as of late, set out to push boundaries, they often fall short. The old trick is to work in silience and when you've finished the project, put it out and let your work speak for itself. The future's uncertain and the end is always near. Wootan 0
Gaga is being respected and considered as a real artist when she says "#TheMusicNotTheBling", "**** you Pop music", and stuff like this, whereas Katy is being bashed by the whole fanbase when she holds a somewhat similar speech. How ironic. Edited August 6, 2014 by Wootan

Dodo 313
Edited the OP with the other rather controversial and bold statements she has stated in the RollingStone interview - from hating the question of 'what if she flops' to hating fame itself and saying she's not obsessed with topping the charts. Things got more interesting. Ou ty mills & ty again for keeping in the op

aquaprincess 23
She's not completely obsessed with topping the charts. "I'm not trying to ever duplicate what I did on Teenage Dream, because I could never. Prism is more about showing the variety I have as an artist, rather than always having a determined goal to go to Number One or whatever. I mean, it's always nice, but that's not always going to happen. And I don't want to have to conform to try and do that. Like, I don't want to have to play something I'm not to get that Number One or whatever. That's not music. That's math. And I don't want to be that." really?ok i believe you.
