I'm happy they didn't include the speech from the original because I feel like that speech + these new verses would have cheapened it all. But, I love that we have two versions of this and the fact that the original exists keeps its message and purpose alive and well and I don't believe this remix puts that message in danger because they're essentially different songs with different messages altogether. Nicki SLAYED my life + Bey shedding light on the elevator incident!
